What Our Warranty Covers

Our warranty covers defects in workmanship related to the upholstery work performed by Zedaker Upholstery.

  • Seam failure caused by workmanship
  • Stitching failure caused by workmanship
  • Installation issues caused by workmanship
  • Craftsmanship defects in completed upholstery work

Materials & Manufacturer Coverage

Materials are covered according to the original manufacturer’s warranty, when applicable. This can include certain vinyls, fabrics, foams, threads, adhesives, and other upholstery materials depending on the product selected.

We will always help you understand material options before the job begins so you can choose the right balance of durability, appearance, and cost.

What Is Not Covered

Some issues are outside the control of workmanship and are not covered under the Zedaker Upholstery craftsmanship warranty.

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage from misuse, abuse, pets, sharp objects, burns, stains, or chemicals
  • Sun fading, mildew, mold, or weather damage
  • Damage from improper cleaning products
  • Customer-supplied materials that fail
  • Changes caused by age, exposure, or lack of maintenance

Customer-Supplied Materials

If a customer provides their own fabric, vinyl, foam, or other material, we can still perform the work, but we cannot warranty the quality, durability, colorfastness, stretch, shrinkage, coating, backing, or long-term performance of customer-supplied materials.

Our workmanship warranty still applies to the labor we perform, but material failure is not covered unless the material was supplied through Zedaker Upholstery and covered by the manufacturer.

If you believe there is an issue with our workmanship, contact us as soon as possible. We will review the job, look at the concern, and determine the best way to make it right under the terms of the warranty.
